Rehabilitation, modernization and extension of educational and accommodation spaces Faculty of Mechanics Craiova

The project allows the rehabilitation and modernization of existing buildings, as well as the construction of new buildings, grouped in 3 investment objects:

Ob. 1 – Rehabilitation of the central wing of building C2 – GF + 1 and extension with D + P body (hall and exhibition space)
Ob. 2 – Rehabilitation, refurbishment and modernization of building C3, D + P + 1 (dean’s office)
Ob. 3 – Rehabilitation and modernization of building C10 – Gf + 4 (student dormitory no. 8) and extension with GF + 2, GF + 4 (teaching laboratory building)

The whole project included additions, reinforcements of the resistance structure, reinforced concrete lining, consolidation of the floor above the basement by overconcreting, replacement of wooden floors with reinforced concrete floors, masonry restoration, consolidation and stiffening of the wooden elements of the frame, replacement of exterior carpentry wood with aluminum joinery, curtain wall on aluminum profiles, construction of pedestrian alleys, roadways, as well as green spaces and sports field. The installations executed were the following: electrical, sanitary, thermal ventilation, low currents and internal hydrants.
